S10-109Why You Might Want Them. We make our S10 high-performance Motor Mount Adaptor Plates available for purchase separately, but you might be better served by our mount kit. These adaptor brackets secure the S10-106 high-performance mounts also included in the kit using the original holes on the S-10 frame and the 4.3 V6 engine.
More on the Mounting Kit. Stock S10 4.3 V6 engine mounts allow excessive movement and can fail in high-performance applications, allowing the headers to hit the frame, the engine to hit the hood, or the fan to damage the fan shroud. JTR's mount kit minimizes such problems but uses mounts soft enough to limit vibration and noise for street-driven vehicle use.
